“How many countries will we be traveling through for the one year trip?” Joani asked out of the blue one day.
I estimated, “At least 10 to 15 countries and maybe even up to 20 countries!”
“Um…that would mean that adding to the 22 countries we had already been to, I would have traveled to perhaps 40 countries after this year. Not bad for a 14 year old!” Joani calculated.

Thinking about the different possible countries we might go thru is both exciting and daunting at the same time. Two factors guided the countries we plan to travel through: 1) Ease of getting visa and 2) Good weather condition when we plan to be there.
With these in mind, here is our list:

Wow, that’s lot of countries to travel through. How do get the visas for each country?
We only go to country that does not require visa or can provide visa on arrival. So except for China, we don’t need to apply visa ahead of time!
